Debora Dorsman was born in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Raised in a busy entrepreneurial family, there was not much room for faith. At a young age, Debora began having dreams, visions, and spiritual encounters. Although her mother was not really a Christian at that time, she did believe there was a God, and she told her: “When you are afraid, you can pray.”
Every winter, Debora and her family traveled for a month to overseas destinations, mostly to the Caribbean and Asia. The Dutch Antilles, especially Bonaire, became a second home to her. Through her travels, she learned to speak several languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Papiamentu.
During her teenage years, Debora experienced severe spiritual oppression. At the age of 17, fear and depression nearly overwhelmed her, but God preserved her, and she managed to finish university with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Economics. At 24, feeling empty and searching for purpose, she quit her job as a duty manager, broke up with her boyfriend, gave up her apartment, and left with a backpack to South America in search of herself, God, and the very reason for her existence.
When she arrived on the island of Curaçao, several people approached her on the street to tell her about Jesus. She met a Jamaican man who asked her if she wanted to join him at church. As Debora was looking for God, she wholeheartedly responded, “Yes, please!” They eventually entered into a relationship, but things were not going as they should. After half a year, Debora returned to the Netherlands. Ignoring the red flags and believing that God had brought him into her life for a reason, she returned to Curaçao a year later. The couple decided to marry, and Debora became pregnant. When she was two months pregnant, she woke up early one morning and heard the loud voice of the Lord saying, “You will bear a son, and his name shall be called Jeremiah.”
Seven months later, in August, Jeremiah Jonathan was born in Curaçao. Because there were no family members or friends to help her, and her husband was working long days as a sous-chef, the couple decided to emigrate to Belgium. After a year, they moved to the Netherlands. Debora hoped her marriage would improve once they were settled, but the opposite proved true. She started a restaurant, hoping her husband would feel happier, but things only worsened. While raising a toddler and managing a restaurant, she suffered severe domestic abuse.
In 2017, the owner of the shopping mall where their restaurant was located decided to sell the building, and the restaurant was bought out. Debora cried out to God, and one night her husband received a very intense dream. In his dream, he saw both heaven and hell. He heard the loud voice of the Lord saying, “If you do not repent and tell your wife everything you have done, and begin to care for her and your son as I have commanded you, you will end up in hell and lose everything.” God gave him a final chance and allowed him to exit back to earth through a small window. He woke up screaming in complete panic. After calming down, he confessed to Debora that he had been cheating on her from the beginning with several women.
Although Debora now understood the reason behind the abuse, the revelation broke her into pieces. With God’s help, she chose to forgive her husband and managed to get him into counseling. Unfortunately, after four months, the situation became even worse and extremely dangerous. Debora nearly lost her life. After being locked in the bathroom for hours, she managed to escape with her five-year-old son in her arms. She decided that divorce was the only option left.
About two months later, she heard the voice of the Lord twice, saying: “I have delivered you from an unlawful marriage, and I have now delivered you from the grip of the spirit of Ahab.”
Approximately three months later, Debora received devastating news: doctors discovered she had early-stage cervical cancer. She wept, thinking her life was over, but told the doctors, “Jesus will heal me. I do not need any treatment.”
God told her she had two choices: stand on His Word, even though she was afraid, or believe the doctors’ report. Debora chose to stand on God’s Word. Knowing that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, she listened to Scripture continually and declared her healing. A friend from church told her about the Courts of Heaven teaching by Dr. Robert Henderson. She watched an episode titled “Obtaining Your Healing in the Courts of Heaven” with Dr. Sid Roth.
Afterward, she asked God, “What is the legal right of this cancer?” The Holy Spirit told her: “Call your ex-husband and ask for forgiveness. Both of you have sinned. Also, forgive yourself.” Immediately, she grabbed her phone and called her ex-husband to apologize.
A few days later, while sitting in the car next to her mother, she heard the word “Chastisement.” Shocked, she asked, “God, is that You?” God responded, “The chastisement of your peace, Debora.” Realizing this was Scripture, she looked it up and found Isaiah 53:5:
“But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.”
She began to weep and thank the Lord, realizing He had healed her and given her another chance. In the days that followed, the Lord told her He would give her a new womb, burn her mouth with fire, fill it, and send her into her calling — but she could never turn back as her ancestors had.
When she arrived at her gynecologist’s office in Hoofddorp, he approached her in the hospital hallway, gently touched her arm, and said, “Mrs. Dorsman, calm down. I have very good news for you.” Debora began praising the Lord in the middle of the hospital, and her sister joined her. The gynecologist explained that they had tested her tissue three times, but there was no cancer. Astonished, he asked, “Can you please tell me who your God is? We have never witnessed anything like this before. This goes against all our books and knowledge.” Debora shared with him about God and the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to receive salvation.
The weekend after her report of healing, Debora testified in her church, and women fell into her arms weeping afterward. She understood then that she had gone through everything not only for herself, but to help others.
Shortly afterward, she received a prophecy that she was called to worship. Within a week, she received an invitation to lead worship. She responded, “I have never led worship before.” The person insisted they had heard her sing in a church video. The Lord reminded her: “Do what I am asking you to do, and do not turn back like your ancestors.” Debora said yes.
For three years, the Lord prepared her in worship. In 2021, He told her she was ready. In March 2022, God gave her a dream and said, “You are giving birth. The baby is halfway out, but you need to give a final push. Open your mouth, and I will fill it.” Shortly afterward, a prophet called her to the front of the church and handed her the microphone, asking her to pray for a woman. Not knowing what to say, she heard the Lord remind her, “Open your mouth, and I will fill it.” She obeyed, and it was as if heaven opened over her. She prophesied for about three hours, and the whole church was set ablaze. She knew this was God alone. That was the birth of her prophetic ministry.
In 2025, she was officially ordained by her apostle, Dr. Nelson Noël, as a prophet to the nations. She now travels to many nations, often together with her son Jeremiah, who is now 13 years old, calling people back to their first love and preparing the remnant for the end times.
After receiving a word from the Lord through her apostle in May 2025, she founded Melchizedek Embassy the Netherlands in August 2025 in Zandvoort — an apostolic hub for the end times. In January 2026, she founded “The Call,” a movement to gather and position the remnant and prepare them for the end-time revival, which will take place on April 18, 2026, in Amsterdam.
Debora dreams of building at least 70 self-sustaining apostolic hubs worldwide, functioning as training and equipping centers, shelters, and community lifestyle centers — offering everything needed to restore and build the army of the Lord for this season.
Apart from her ministry, Debora runs her own company as an independent virtual assistant and advisor. She is also a certified health coach and founded the network Christian Health.
In 2017, she received the Caribbean Civility Award from I Change Nations for her efforts on the island of Saint Martin (Sint Maarten) following Hurricane Irma. She is also the president of Healing Wings, an organization aimed at providing emergency and humanitarian relief to the Caribbean.
